If You Wish To Be Miserable...

Here is a quotation that David handed around to all of us:

If you wish to be miserable, you must think about yourself; about what you want, what you like, what respect people ought to pay you, and then, nothing to you will be pure. You will spoil everything you touch; you will make sin and misery out of everything God sends you. You can be as wretched as you choose."
-Charles Kingsley
Now think about that for a minute. That is a quote that should be put into the hand of everyone living, and taken to heart.

Perhaps you have a habit of looking at people through "unhappy eyeglasses". Remember that nothing about others will look pure if you are self-absorbed. We can choose to be "unwretched" and pure in our dealings with others.
